My name is Zsuzsanna K. Balogh, visual artist and painter.
I believe that art does more than simply decorate walls — it tells stories, conveys emotions, and creates lasting value. Through my paintings, I create contemporary works of art designed for premium, exclusive interiors: pieces that not only become defining elements of a space, but also bring inspiration and a distinctive atmosphere for many years to come.
During my artistic studies, I had the opportunity to learn from renowned artists such as Alim Adilov and István Korbély, both of whom had a significant influence on the development of my artistic vision.
I regularly take part in Hungarian and international artists’ colonies, symposiums, and creative workshops. My artistic journey has been enriched on several occasions by the Zalaszentgyörgy Artists’ Colony and the Nagymegyer International Art Camp, where I had the opportunity to create alongside outstanding artists and gain valuable professional experience.
My paintings have been entered in numerous Hungarian and international competitions, and my works have been selected for exhibitions both in Hungary and abroad. My artistic work has also received recognition in the “Distinctive Use of Colour” category. My creative journey has been featured in an interview by NovArt Cultural Magazine.
It brings me great joy that my works can now be found not only in Hungary, but also in private collections abroad. My paintings have become part of exclusive homes, prestigious business spaces, hotels, and distinctive interiors in Hungary and internationally.
My artistic world is defined by four distinctive directions: my signature Goldi Collection, embellished with gold leaf; Art Deco-inspired painting; non-figurative abstract art; and figurative abstract art. Although each style represents a different visual world, they are united by elegance, attention to detail, and the desire to create works of art that blend harmoniously into premium and exclusive interiors.
As a passionate artist, I seek the meeting point of emotion, colour, and harmony in my paintings. Every work carries its own unique story, and every brushstroke contains a part of me.
The Goldi Collection is one of the defining series of my artistic world. Embellished with gold leaf, these paintings represent refined elegance, light, and timeless value. Through this collection, I aim to bring contemporary painting together with the world of premium interior design. Each piece is created to become a distinctive artistic focal point within an exclusive space.
My inspiration comes from a love of life, the depth of human emotion, and the beauty of the world around us. The philosophy behind my art is simple: I believe that beauty can be found in every day — we simply have to learn how to notice it.
This philosophy is also reflected in my poetry. My writings and paintings are two different expressions of the same idea: they aim to remind us that the true values of life can be found in beauty, harmony, human connection, and emotion.
For me, art is freedom — a space where I can create new worlds through colour, light, and form. At the same time, I also believe that art carries responsibility and can play a meaningful role in society.
For this reason, I donate a portion of the value of every painting sold to charity, with the buyer also having the opportunity to choose the beneficiary. Over the years, the sale of my artworks has helped support numerous non-profit organisations and foundations, including organisations supporting children, healthcare foundations, animal welfare associations, and communities supporting women.
